Not

I foolishly thought I wanted to have a Wordpress blog. Silly me. Blech, that's all I can say. Well, maybe not all I can say. I can usually say plenty. Lol. I just don't like it over there. Thing is, I can't really pinpoint why. Oh well. Blogger is better. More fun. So, here I am. I never really left, but you know what I mean, right?

I cannot believe we're halfway through October. The holidays are close at hand. I see pumpkins everywhere. The leaves are wearing their autumn best!  Mornings are nice and crispy.  Our kitties are enjoying the evening breeze and all the fall scents. They're indoor all the time felines, but I leave the windows open for as long into the fall as I can. Not like in July when windows are often closed and the air conditioner is on a lot.

Anyway, now that I've decided Wordpress is not for me, I'll be here more often. It'll be like coming home after a trip away. :) Deep breath and happy sigh!

I hope you've all had a good week. Weekend is almost here. (Yes, sometimes I like to state the obvious.) :)  Before I retire for the evening, I just want to leave a little haiku..

                                             Apple pie is made..
                                             Sweet scent of lovely spices!
                                             Yummy flaky crust!

Nothing quite like a delicious slice of apple pie a la mode!

I'll be back soon, and peace to all..

                                   Mary

  1. That is so interesting. I opened a wordpress account and then never used it after one post. I don't know why. Maybe because i've gotten so used to Blogger I feel more at home here. I'm still considering starting a blog over there, but I've been "considering" for over a year. Anyway, welcome back!

  2. I tried Wordpress as well. Never even accomplished one post. I just didn't like the feel of it.

Yes, we are halfway through October. So hard to believe. I've already started budgeting in my mind for the holidays this year. Time is going so fast it will be here before we no it.

Glad you decided Wordpress was not for you.

  3. I too tried word press and felt more comfortable here. I think it's because I'm used to blogger. If I started with word press, I like it there better.

  4. Blogger can be a pain in the ass sometimes, but I've never been tempted to move to Wordpress. Your post today vindicates my decision, LOL!

  6. I wondered about Wordpress, I think I will just take your word for it and stay where I am. I like blogger because I can print my blog, I do it every three months, and that is kind of important to me.

I love autumn, apple cider, Apple pie and pumpkins on the porch. I adore the cooler temperatures, falling leaves and the candles for fall!! I didn't know Apple pie could be eaten any way other than "a la mode"!!!! Have a great weekend!!

  8. I used Wordpress while on a team blog a few years ago. Never thought it was all that great. I like blogger and how easy it is to go back and forth between my blog and others over here. Thanks for visiting me Mary!
